History
Clearwood UK started life as part of David Ball Construction a company purchased by our parent company Rowe Holdings in 1993.
Originally the joinery’s purpose was to service the needs of the building arm of David Ball Construction. However as the demand for
the quality and range of our products grew the company itself grew and in 1998 a need for the further expansion of the business was identified.
A new purpose built 32,000 ft square double storey factory was built and equipped with state of the art joinery machinery. We employed an ongoing research and development policy within the company and became an Accredited Manufacturer of the British Woodworking Federation Window Manufacturers Accreditation Scheme (TWAS), for our INNOVATION range.
In 2002 the business was renamed Clearwood Joinery to reflect its expansion into the general market for joinery products.
In March 2006 the Company brought Devoran Joinery and was renamed Clearwood UK. We now provide an extensive range of products.
In November 2007 Clearwood was acquired by the Performance Window Group (PWG). A new company, Clearwood Windows and Doors Ltd, has been formed to continue to offer the Clearwood UK products in its strong South West market.
